I’ve decided to keep better track of my life and what’s happening in it.  Here’s the news from January:

January brought some rather cold weather. Not that I captured the really cold days.

The other day I spent the morning helping a friend with an art project. She needed to smash several Precious Moments figurines and I helped her capture the excitement. Here’s some of the set-up:

I’ll not give anything away, as this is not my project, I was just the assistant. I assure you my friend has nothing against Precious Moments nor the people who collect them.  I promise to  update everyone once the show is up and running at the end of the month.

Needless to say I have many more pictures like this one:

I’ve been hard at work adding a page to Hoagyland that links the song title used in the post back to the photo.  Now you can search by song title.  Check it out!

A rare photo of Tina hanging out with Hoagy.

Memorial Day weekend had me in southern California at the Simi Valley Cajun and Blues Festival.  As usual I took lots of pics.  Here’s a slideshow from the Lester Butler Tribute Band with Big Pete and the rest of the band honoring Lester Butler.  For a review of the show or to learn more about Lester, check nofightin.com.
